The first fully automatic feeding robot
Lehrte, June 25th 2009 — The Innovado by Schuitemaker Machines BV is a self-driving mixing truck. It drives to the food, picks up the food, mixes it, drives to the animals, feeds them and goes back to the garage. All without a driver! The track guidance uses a Transponder system, a gyroscope and the track guidance controller HG 73650 from Götting. The obstacle detection is realised with a laser scanner.
For this concept Schuitemaker received a gold medal on the EuroTier fair 2008. 30 seconds into the video you can spot the Götting transponders in the ground.
