Our program for the CeBIT 2009
Convoi with electronic tow-bar
The increasing level of electronical equipment on serial built vehicles makes automation much more easier. Götting KG has already automated several trucks, payloaders and forklift trucks (so called AGV). Now in a new project driving in convoy in a non- public area and on a construction site will soon be possible.
- One driver, many vehicles
- Fuel Reduction
This project was started in February 2009 and we are now already able to present a simplified system at the CeBIT exhibition 2009. Due to safety reasons the velocity allowed by the appropriate authority is limited to 6 km/h. By the end of 2009 real tests on HGVs travelling at a speed of 30 or 80 km/h shall be carried out.
Preemptive Collision Prevention
Götting KG has the largest range of sensors for track guidance of so called Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). In fact track guidance has become a simple and reliable technology. However, avoidance of collision proved to be particularly problematic, especially if the same traffic area is used by AGV and manually driven vehicles.
Electroscooters presented by Götting KG at the CeBIT exhibition demonstrate a system preventing collisions in advance. A superior primary control tracks all vehicles applied with this technology. The vehicles will ask for release for the required driving route. If the route is allocated for the first vehicle, this area will be closed for all other vehicles.
