Control via CAN / Digital Inputs (PLC) / serial (RS 232)
Lehrte, November 9th 2017 — There's a rising demand for automated guided vehicles (AGV) to play acoustic signals during certain driving sequences. For this simple signal generators usually are no longer sufficient. Götting therefore has developed a new audio player especially for the industrial operation in AGVs.
The audio files / tone sequences are stored on an USB memory stick in the form of MP3 or WAV files. The vehicle controller can trigger the playback of specific files via digital inputs, RS 232 or CAN bus telegrams.

The player is operated with a voltage supply of 10 – 30 V DC and has a nominal output power of 2 x 10 Watt. The maximum voltage is limited via a potentiometer. The player has contacts for external loudspeakers, thus the loudspeakers an be installed at a suitable place inside the vehicle.
The audio player is a suitable extension for Götting's already comprehensive product range of components for automated guided vehicles.
