Calculation of the Inductance of Wire Loops
The following program calculates the inductance of a rectangular wire loop made of copper wire and suggests a matching generator. In addition it calculates an optimal compensating capacitor for series connection at the operating frequency. For a capacitor suggested by you, the user, the voltage stress for said capacitor is calculated aswell as the output voltage needed from the generator at the given wire current.
Notes:
- In order to run the program JavaScript has to be activated in your browser. Plugins like e.g. Java are not necessary.
- Incorrect values are indicated with input fields with a red background. Please correct those fields. Letters and special characters are not allowed.
- If no capacitor is to be used, please set compensation capacitor to 99999
